The Young & the Restless – my my. What are the writers thinking? How much exactly are they getting paid? No matter – this blog isn’t about their salary. It’s about that pitiful storyline they’re making the actors act out; and Victoria’s outlandish hair.
I’m going to be all over the place with this topic; my mind is running a mile a minute. Anyway, what’s with people not going to jail and actually staying there? Sharon is probably going to get off Scott free. She’s been in courtrooms and the visiting area of the jail more than the camera veered her being in an actual cell.
I know one thing I guess they’ve read what people been saying about the Winters’ family. They were boring and now they’re a level above boring; which is mildly boring. So Devon is Tucker’s son huh? Why, just…why? Why now, why Tucker? He’s one of my least favorite characters on that show. They’re trying to give all these unnecessary actors purpose on this show when they can simply write them off. Devon especially, or at least write him off like they did Adam Newman but let him return with his ears fixed. I’m kind of getting tired of seeing that hearing aid of his. I always think it’s a bug or something on my screen. Where does Devon live anyway? He took that damn painting of his to the Club, and to Crimson Lights.
Ashley is just pathetic. She gets cheated on and all because she loves him she stays with him. As long as I’ve watched this show Ashley and as well as the other women of Genoa City have been nothing but pushovers. Seems like the only with a lick of sense is Lily. What sole purpose does Ashley or Lily have on the show now? Why not send them on a maiden voyage to overseas like they do with the other actors when they’ve run out of ideas for them.
Chloe Chloe Chloe, I know you hate the writers especially. First you were made to hate Billy and take his daughter from him and now, you’re crying over the fact that you need him to get tested to see if he’s a match for Delia. Make up your mind writers. This is ridiculous! You’re not making this soap any more believable than a $3 bill. You’re boring us and putting us to sleep and at the same time pissing us off. Why does it seem in one way another someone ends up with cancer?
Adam wasn’t even gone that long from the show, how he come back from “eye surgery” with no signs of scars, bandages, emotional distress, etc? Also! This man was already walking around like the hand of god just reached down and poked him in his retinas and gave him his sight back. What was the point in writing that in there? We already [well most of us] forgot he was even blind. Just covering your tracks huh? It’s a little late for that don’t cha’ think?
Why must the writers drag out certain parts of the show? Just throw Ashley and her brat for a daughter Abbey in ja-…wait, I’m not going to even say that. I’ve had enough of looking at these unbelievable lawyers they put on this show. I don’t need another 3-4 months worth of that mess.
Victor Newman, how is this man walking around getting away with everything? How is it possible that this man can break so many laws, do so many unlawful things and run and ruin people lives? Why are the writers making this actor keep Billy Abbot away from Victoria? I’ve seen this before and guess what? The story never sticks! Why write it this way when you’re going to put them back together anyway? He’s put Michael’s brother [can't think of his name now] in the middle of Chloe and Billy’s situation with their daughter. I love the way they make it seem as if he teleports to sections of the city at times. I know this is a fictional show and everything but be a little realistic here.
Speaking of Michael, this guy at first was the lawyer for everyone in town. Just like the very obvious and at the same time very tiring places people meet in Genoa City his storyline is unbelievable as well. While I’m on that though, Glow Worm, Crimson Lights, and The Athletic Club, really? There aren’t any other places people can gather? Oh yea and that damn bar. I swear it’s like the show is on a very strict budget and they just stick to the same old tired stages. What’s funny, Genevieve’s wine cellar looks just like the one Lily and that one guy got trapped in when she had got [the same room everyone gets at the athletic club] a room for her and Cain Ashby.
All I have to say about Gloria and Jeffrey is that they’re disgusting to look at. That is all.
Jill, what is wrong with her? Colin tried to kidnap his grandchildren to take back to Australia and she goes to bed with him? What a big F-you! from the writers to the viewers. I seriously hope there’s a reason behind all of this foolishness going on between those two.
I take that back, Phyllis is the main character I wouldn’t mind disappearing. One more love scene between her and Nick and I’m going to puke. They break up just to make up and all I want to do is throw up. It’s a shame people get passed around from bed to bed like a rumor on this show. That’s to be expected, since I’m convinced they’re on a budget. They can’t afford decent story lines, atmosphere or actors. What really grind my gears is how the writers have these actors fight for these poor kids but who have them most of the time? The damn Nanny. In life these kids would be so distant from their parents, by default they would call them even if they were in the same room.
So, Ronan sucks as a detective and they should have made him follow his “brother” back into the army. In other words, write him off. His character is pointless and so is the “who killed Roger Rabbit – er Diane Jenkins story line. Some things should be straight to the point, not dragged through hot coals, the mud, and thorn bushes.
What is her name…oh well. Right now she’s going to be Mrs. Cry about everything. She’s the most whiny and useless woman on the show. She knows her only son in town don’t like her right now and she’s acting like she don’t have a clue to why.
So to summarize. Everyone screws each other, everyone ends up with cancer, people come back from the dead, no one spends time in jail, parents don’t raise their own children, there’s only one man in town with the amount of money to be above the law. I could go on but I rather not.
Just…just cancel the show.
